State Representatives David Thomas (R-Jefferson), Bill Roemer (R-Richfield), and Jim Hoops (R-Napoleon) today applauded the signing of House Bills 124, 129, 309, 186, and 335 – five initiatives championed by House Republicans that work to curb tax hikes and deliver direct property tax relief to Ohioans, totaling more than $3 billion in savings.  

(Columbus, Ohio) – State Representative Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) is encouraging Ohioans to submit a public comment following the U.S. EPA Region 5’s proposal to reject the E-Check Ease Act: 

Chairman Bill Roemer (R–Richfield) today expressed his strong disappointment in the U.S. EPA Region 5’s decision to reject the E-Check Ease Act — legislation that would have allowed residents in seven Northeast Ohio counties to submit an attestation form in place of a physical E-Check inspection.

COLUMBUS – Governor DeWine signed the Escaped Convict Alert Program (ECAP) into law on Monday. Introduced by State Representatives Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) and Josh Williams (R-Sylvania Twp.), this legislation will strengthen public safety through a new alert system which will notify residents when a nearby convict escapes from custody.
