Reps. Upchurch, Brewer to Host People First Town Hall and Resource Fair

COLUMBUS – State Reps. Terrence Upchurch (D-Cleveland) and Darnell T. Brewer (D-Cleveland) today announce their upcoming town hall and resource fair. This event will be held this Friday, September 29th at 5pm at Zelma Watson George Roller Skating Facility (3155 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr, Cleveland OH 44104). There will be several resource tables available for the community to stop at and receive help including: The Village of Healing, The Foodbank, Cuyahoga County Jobs and Family Services, United Way, NEON, Cuyahoga County Department of Aging, and several others. In addition, Walmart will be on site providing glucose and cholesterol testing, as well as vision screenings.

“I hope everyone can stop by and we are able to have engaging, thought-provoking and meaningful conversation while also being able to provide resources. I am excited,” said Reps. Upchurch and Brewer.

The representatives will also provide a breakdown of the state operating budget that Gov. DeWine signed this summer and will explain how those state dollars affect the district. Lastly, there will be an opportunity for the community to ask questions and/or comment on their views of the state and what they want improved in the district.
