State Rep. Diane Grendell (R-Chesterland) announces that several local schools within the 76th Ohio House District are set to receive the Purple Heart Award for this academic year. The local schools being designated with the Purple Heart Award includes AJ Jordak Elementary School, Cardinal Middle School, Cardinal High School and Timmons Elementary School.

 
 

09.30.20 - Concealed Carry Extension Bill Passes Ohio General Assembly

 

State Rep. Diane Grendell (R-Chesterland) is pleased to announce her concealed carry extension bill, HB 764, has passed both chambers after being added to House Bill 614. Now pending Governor DeWine’s signature, CCW holders whose licenses have expired March 9, 2020, until June 30, 2021, are extended until June 30, 2021, or 90 days after the license would have expired, whichever is later.

 
 

09.22.20 - Grendell, Stoltzfus File Legislation To End COVID-19 State Of Emergency

 

State Reps. Diane Grendell (R-Chesterland) and Reggie Stoltzfus (R-Paris Twp.) announce the filing of the “Restore Ohio Now” bill, which will terminate the COVID-19 state of emergency order. As a result of its implementation, the bill would also seek to end other specific orders issued by the governor that are set to expire if and when the state of emergency concludes. The legislation has received 15 co-sponsors, with Stoltzfus joint-sponsoring.
