Rep. Roemer visits Regina Health, Distributes PPE

State Rep. Bill Roemer (R–Richfield) visited Regina Health Center on Thursday, distributing personal protective equipment provided by JobsOhio and the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce. Roemer was met at the assisted living facility by Sister Judith Ann Karem, Marti Shivak, and Mark. Also involved in the effort were State Senator Kristina Roegner (R–Hudson), and senior services advocacy group LeadingAge Ohio.

“With so many seniors being affected by COVID-19, and with so many retirement facilities stepping up their safety protocols, it is critical that they have the protective equipment they need,” said Roemer. “I’m very grateful to JobsOhio and the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce for providing this resource to protect our most vulnerable population at this time, and to Senator Roegner for partnering with me to facilitate this donation.”

Representative Roemer also visited Chapel Hill Community in Canal Fulton. Kathryn Brod, President and CEO of LeadingAge Ohio, also extended support.
